This course is designed for previous
Swan Bay participants who show a keen interest
in the outdoors and leadership. Some of the skills
participants are taught include chart work, navigation,
weather interpretation and how to read tide and current
tables. In addition, hands on opportunities provide
development skills in group management, meal
planning, trip planning and crisis management.
Participants who successfully complete this
course are eligible to apply for work placement
at Swan Bay.
